The Unity Chairs. Cast bronze, 36 inches high x 5.5 ft long x 24 inches wide. Page In the Sun Café, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. With two different colors or the same colors, the two interlocking bronze chairs compel people to sit facing each other, encouraging companionship.

Lewis and Clark Expedition
Christina Demetro with Aurora Sidney-Ando Whale Song 5.5 ft high x 7 ft long x 3.5 ft wide. Mountain View neighborhood, Anchorage, AK - awarded twice in recent years as "The Most Diverse Neighborhood in the Nation." A wave splashes over the arched tail of a humpback whale. In an abstract way, the three streams of salmon suggest a stylized peace symbol in the middle. Also, the whale's fins and tail have silhouettes of Alaskan animals, which the viewer can discover upon closer look. Demetro sculpted the front sides of the model and large bronze, while artist Sidney-Ando sculpted the backsides, along with 94 Alaskan children co-sculpting from Mt View Boys and Girl's Club and Wonder Park Elementary School. The students also placed blue “Pledges of Peace” handprints on stones to create a ripple of ocean water around the base. They each pledged to do one good deed for their neighborhood.
